What is the best way to prepare for the 2024 Abitur exam in the natural sciences of mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics?

We are now almost 3 months away from this year's Abitur exams and the pressure to prepare is increasing exponentially. You can find the Abitur exam dates for Hesse here here

We have compiled the most important points for efficient preparation for the Abitur exam for you:

1. Start studying for your Abitur exams in good time. This way, you will be under as little time pressure as possible and you will avoid a large part of the exam stress.
   
2. Create a timetable up to the exam and distribute all the content to be learned so that there is enough time. Be sure to plan time for intensive repetition.
   
3. Download the corresponding curricula for the Abitur 2024 and use them for your time and content planning. You can find this year's curricula here
   
4. Learn and work on all the topics listed in the curriculum and do not leave anything out, even if a subject area is included in the 2023 Abitur examination. This is no reason to skip topics from your studies.
   
5. Please do not underestimate the number of topics for each subject. All topics from the E and Q1-Q3 phases can be tested in the Abitur examinations. In addition, most of the topics build on each other.
   
6. Repetition of the material learned contributes significantly to improving performance. Due to the quantity and complexity of the subjects, learning them once is definitely not enough. By the time you have learned all the topics, you will have largely forgotten the first ones. The way to remember everything you have learned is to repeat it several times.
   
7. Don't leave topics that you are not good at lying around, but make sure that you learn and work on them just as well as all other topics.
